AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - A Randall County grand jury indicted a woman in connection with a June 2025 wreck.

Sara Lynn Back, 45, is charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury, a second-degree felony.

In Texas, a second-degree felony carries a punishment range of up to 20 years in prison.

Back is accused of causing a serious accident on June 21 near Coulter Street and Arden Road.

Witnesses reported seeing Back’s vehicle going through the intersection in excess of the 50 mph posted speed limit.

The car then collided with a white Cadillac with two occupants as it pulled out of the Walmart parking lot.

First responders extricated Back with the “jaws of life”.

All occupants of both cars were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
