The 2025 Gananoque Santa Claus parade was themed Holiday Movie Magic and saw floats and marchers work their way down King Street East to the Town Hall Park in a stream of lights and colour, and sound.

Three judges were assigned to select the winners of this year’s parade and found it difficult to choose the best in each of the five categories.

The parade entry winners were:

– 1,000 Islands RV Centre for Most Festive Lighting

– Delta Agricultural Society for Most Creative

– Sharpe Lawn and Garden Service won Most On-Theme Entry (National Lampoon Christmas Vacation)

– Gananoque and Area Food Bank was the Best Non-Profit

– Best Overall Parade Float went to Cardinal Health

The parade crowds also enjoyed free hot chocolate and cookies from a number of local businesse
