The fifth annual Festival of Lights in Gananoque ushered in the winter holiday season with live music, joy and excitement at the illumination of Candy Cane Lane in Town Hall Park on Nov. 28.

“There are many individuals who have made this holiday spectacle come to life,” said Town Crier Brian Mabee during the lighting ceremony.

The design and installation of the holiday decorations were provided by the Gananoque Visitors Center and town staff.

Candy Cane Lane is the beginning of a month of holiday events and celebrations in downtown Gananoque. From the Santa Claus parade to Santa Days in the park and all sorts of other activities, there will be something for everyone.
