BOWLING GREEN — The early national signing day window, held from Dec. 3-5, saw the Bowling Green State University football program bring in a haul of 20 signees by the time head coach Eddie George took to the microphone for Thursday’s news conference.

After taking over the program in March, the current offseason is George’s first full recruiting cycle at the helm for the Falcons. The coaching staff hit Ohio heavily, bringing in 12 in-state signings.

“We’re really excited about this class coming in,” George said. “It’s full of depth and talent across the state of Ohio… it’s a testament to what our staff has been able to do since we’ve been here. We really put an emphasis on winning the state of Ohio.”

Among those players are quarterback Jarin Mock and defensive lineman Elijah Durham-Smi
