COLUMBUS, Ohio — Survivors who say they were abused by former Ohio State doctor Richard Strauss protested outside the University’s Board of Trustees meeting Thursday afternoon.

An independent investigation commissioned by The Ohio State University found Strauss sexually abused at least 177 students during his time as a university physician. He died in 2005.

The demonstration comes as plaintiffs continue their effort to subpoena former university trustee Les Wexner in a federal lawsuit against Ohio State.

Tom Lisy, one of the survivors, said, " The group of us were assaulted by Dr. Richard Strauss. We were victims of sexual assault at the hands of Dr. Richard Strauss.”
