SPARTANBURG, S.C. —
A Greenville County man has been denied bond after being accused of abducting a mother at gunpoint and attempting to sexually assault her in a Spartanburg shopping center .
Justin Alexander McKittrick, 32 of Greer, will remain behind bars until his first court appearance in February. If convicted, McKittrick could face 30 years for each of the following offenses:
Kidnapping
Armed Robbery
Assault with Intent to Commit Criminal Sexual Conduct
Spartanburg County Detention Center
McKittrick also faces a separate charge of possession of a firearm during a violent crime.
Seventh Circuit Solicitor Barry Barnette presented evidence to the court during McKittrick's bond hearing on Thursday alongside Captain Mark Hillers with the Spartanburg Police Department.
