A former Burlington High School wrestling coach has been convicted for sending sexually explicit messages and photos to an undercover agent posing as a minor, according to prosecutors.

Stephen Lemelin, 51, of Burlington, was found guilty Wednesday on three counts of attempted transfer of obscene material to a minor, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts said in a statement . Lemelin was arrested and charged in May 2024 and indicted by a federal grand jury the following month.
