Week 14 of the 2025 NFL season begins tonight with a matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions.

The Philadelphia Eagles will obviously be rooting for a Lions win tonight. The Eagles’ magic number (read: the combined number of Eagles wins PLUS Cowboys losses) to clinch the NFC East is currently four. So, a Cowboys loss here drops that magic number to three.

For what it’s worth, the Lions are 3.5-point home favorites and haven’t lost back-to-back games all season long. We’ll see if they can keep it up or if the Cowboys will win their fourth straight game and keep the pressure on the Birds.
