A local artist will have her works displayed in Morris.

The Gatehouse Coffee Shop & Mercantile, 129 Main St. in Morris, will host an art opening 4-6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, featuring local ceramic artist Elizabeth Nields. The event is free and open to the public.
