ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Offensive lineman Dion Dawkins has been named the Buffalo Bills ' Walter Payton Man of the Year Award winner for the fourth year in a row.
Since joining the team in 2017, Dawkins has made a big impact both on and off the field. He is particularly known for his foundation, Dion's Dreamers , which supports children in underserved communities.
The Walter Payton Man of the Year Award will be presented to one player during the NFL Honors ceremony on Thursday, Feb. 5.
"My work in Buffalo is a reflection of the city itself; we're always willing to help each other out when it is needed. It is a privilege to receive this recognition and know that I will continue to use my platform as a way to shine light on those unseen," Dawkins said in a statement issued by the team
