PHOENIX — Police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead Thursday night in central Phoenix.
Officers responded to a shooting around 8:30 p.m. in the area of 1400 North 2nd Street, where they found an adult man with a critical injury consistent with a gunshot wound. Phoenix Fire personnel also responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
No suspects have been identified, and detectives have taken over the investigation.
Police are asking anyone with information about the suspect to call 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO. Tips leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
The man who died has not been identified.
