Nagpur : In a remarkable turnaround for road safety, Nagpur has recorded a sharp decline in fatal road accidents and deaths in 2025, a development largely attributed to the aggressive enforcement and technology-driven ‘Smart Traffic Police’ initiative, supported by focused operations under ‘Operation U-Turn’. The efforts are being led by Commissioner of Police Dr. Ravinder Kumar Singal, whose team has intensified road discipline and surveillance across the city.
