New Delhi, Dec 05: PM Modi and President Putin have announced a comprehensive economic cooperation program to enhance India-Russia trade until 2030. During a press conference, PM Modi highlighted the goal of achieving $50 billion in mutual investments by 2025 and $100 billion in annual bilateral trade by 2030.

The leaders oversaw the signing of several agreements across sectors, including fertilizers, food safety, and shipping. Russia committed to ensuring a steady supply of fuel to support India’s growing economy. Moreover, Indian companies signed a significant agreement with URALCHEM for establishing a urea plant in Russia.

The discussions included the adoption of a strategic cooperation program and the review of bilateral relations, encompassing regional and global mutual interests.
