BENGALURU: A newlywed couple were forced to attend their wedding reception via video call in the most unusual way following the IndiGo flight crisis. The incident took place in Hubballi, Karnataka. Software engineers Medha Kshirsagar of Hubballi and Sangam Das got married in Bengaluru on November 23. The bride, Medha Kshirsagar, is a native of Hubballi. The wedding took place in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, the groom's hometown.

Their wedding reception was scheduled for December 3 at Gujarat Bhavan in Hubballi, the bride's hometown. They had booked tickets from Bhubaneswar to Bengaluru and then to Hubballi on December 2.
