D’IBERVILLE, Miss. (WLOX) - The City of D’iberville is asking for the return of a wooden Grinch display, which went missing Wednesday night.

The display was mounted to the guardrail on the west side of D’iberville Boulevard, across the street from the Nissan Dealership.

Along with the Grinch, there are several other wooden holiday figures set up throughout the city.

Local leaders said the community enjoys seeing the displays during the Christmas season and ask that whoever took the Grinch please return it to where it was found.

This theft follows another incident in Long Beach where officials said someone stole a Batman, Jesus, and Mary from the nativity scene at Harper McCaughan Town Green.
