LeBron James got them again.

Not with a shot, not with a dunk, not with an offensive explosion he can be singularly capable of, but with a pass.

A delightful, intelligent, right-on-the-money, on-time pass that was another dagger in the heart of Toronto fans who were tormented by him for all those years with Cleveland.

This time it was from LeBron to Rui Hachimura, setting up the final shot that led the Los Angeles Lakers to an entertaining 123-120 win over the Raptors on Thursday night.

It was the best basketball play in the moment, and whether or not it ended one of the most impressive streaks in the game’s history didn’t matter.
