Thursday was only a taste of the rainy weather that’s coming up Friday and through the weekend. Grab a good coat and your most sensible shoes before you head out into this late fall storm.
The National Weather Service says widespread rain is on tap across western Oregon and southwest Washington with stronger showers than we’ve seen all week and breezy winds from the southwest.
Portland will see steady rain through about 2 p.m. Friday and wind gusts frequently reaching 25-35 mph. High temps will reach about 57 degrees, 10 degrees warmer than average during early December.
Showers continue into Saturday and winds will gust to about 20 mph at times. The high temp will reach near 54 degrees. The chance of rain is at 100% and Portland could see as much as a quarter inch from this system.
