CLEVELAND, Ohio — The city of Cleveland will open four recreation centers as warming centers because of frigid temperatures Friday.
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook Friday. Temperatures dipped into the low teens Friday morning and are expected to hit a high near 31.
Forecasters expect the weekend to be slightly warmer, near 36 degrees, but expect light snow Saturday and Sunday.
The warming centers will open at 11:30 a.m. and close at 10 p.m.

• Lonnie Burten Recreation Center (near downtown Cleveland) 2511 East 46th Street
• Zelma George Recreation Center (southeast) 3155 Martin L. King Boulevard
• Collinwood Recreation Center (northeast) 16300 Lakeshore Boulevard
