CLEVELAND — With frigid temperatures in store for our area, the city of Cleveland is opening several recreation centers as warming sites on Friday.
The warming centers will be open for those in need of shelter from 11:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5.
The locations are listed as follows:
Michael Zone Recreation Center
6301 Lorain Ave.
Lonnie Burten Recreation Center
2511 East 46th Street
Collinwood Recreation Center
16300 Lakeshore Blvd.
Zelma George Recreation Center
3155 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
"In the event our visitors need overnight shelter, transportation will be provided to a nearby men's or women's shelter that provides this service," the city added in its release.
