Lloyds Bank has broken its silence over calls to issue £50 or £100 thank you payments to customers. A customer got in touch with the bank, which has branches in Birmingham , and urged it to follow Nationwide's lead.
"Why do Lloyds never give their customers money like Nationwide did?" they asked. Lloyds replied: "We understand customers value rewards and incentives.
"While different banks offer various promotions, Lloyds Bank focuses on long-term value through Everyday Offers, competitive rates, and tailored financial support to suit individual needs." It comes after Nationwide administered payments of hundreds of pounds to customers last summer in the UK.
