NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - As winter settles in, it’s not just the plows that help keep drivers safe. What each driver does before starting the car can make a big difference for everyone on the road, according to police and mechanics.
When winter settles in, it’s not just the roads that get icy. The cold air also affects what’s happening underneath vehicles and all around them. Giving a vehicle a minute or two to warm up before driving not only reduces wear and tear, but can also alleviate further issues.
