Two key Birmingham City players will walk the disciplinary tightrope for the final time at Southampton on Saturday.

Blues' trip to St Mary's is their 19th Championship fixture of the season and that is the cut off point for a one-match ban for five yellow cards. The amnesty comes after the 19th league game which means players who accumulate five bookings after Saturday's game will no longer face a suspension.

Christoph Klarer and Jay Stansfield, both of whom are absolutely integral to Blues, are the two players at risk.

Skipper Klarer picked up his fourth league booking of the season in the 1-1 draw at West Bromwich Albion last week and managed to avoid one against Watford to ensure he will play against his former club Southampton.
