A federal court plea hearing scheduled for Friday has been adjourned in the case of a former Chrysler car salesman and a co-defendant accused of defrauding the automaker.
Apollon Nimo and Farrah Bottris Bahoo were scheduled to potentially plead guilty in front of Judge Mark Goldsmith in U.S. District Court in Detroit to a misdemeanor charge of unlawful transfer of a means of identification in connection with being accused of illegally using employee discounts to sell vehicles over several years.
But court records indicate the hearing was cancelled Thursday, a development that was attributed to an issue with the judge’s schedule. A new date was not set but the hearing is expected to be rescheduled soon.
