HENRICO, Va. (WWBT) - Passengers experienced delays of several hours Friday morning due to deicing issues at Richmond International Airport.

“We are aware of the deicing situation and are working to remedy the issue as quickly as possible” the airport said in a Facebook comment. “We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused! If you are flying from RIC today and have been affected, please DM us your flight information, and that info will be passed along to the proper parties.”

The airport’s website showed numerous flights with delays of several hours on Friday morning.
