GAUTIER, Miss. (WLOX) - A Fairfield Inn by Marriott hotel will join the lineup of businesses coming to the Legacy Park in Gautier.

“This announcement reflects what many of us already know, Gautier is moving forward with energy, momentum, and confidence,” the developers said in a statement.

Legacy Park officials said the move represents a major vote of confidence from a globally recognized brand.

Legacy Park, planned for a site on the northeast corner of Highway 57 and Highway 90, is expected to feature a multi-use complex with medical facilities, retail space, and various other amenities.

Plans call for an endoscopy center, a cardiac surgery center, and a vascular center.

In September, it was announced that Just Love Coffee Cafe will also be opening in Legacy Park.
