St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson has been nationally recognized for its excellence in spine surgery, as shown by its recent awarding of The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Advanced Certification in Spine Surgery.

Hospital officials said the award underscores the hospital’s commitment to safer procedures, better recovery outcomes, and stronger continuity of care for patients. St. Dominic was the only Mississippi healthcare organization to receive the gold honor, which goes annually to hospitals that demonstrate exceptional quality, safety, and consistency in specialized spine care.
