One of the top pieces of Michigan State football’s recruiting class is now officially in the fold.

Collin Campbell, a 2026 four-star offensive tackle, signed with the Spartans on Friday. He is the highest-rated member of the class and stuck with Michigan State despite coach Jonathan Smith being fired on Sunday and Pat Fitzgerald hired on Monday.

The early signing period began on Wednesday and ends Friday. Michigan State signed 18 players, including a pair of walk-ons, on Wednesday .

Campbell, 6-foot-7 and 280 pounds, stars at Williams Field High School in Gilbert, Ariz., and committed to the Spartans in June. He is listed as the No. 21 offensive tackle and No. 197 player overall in the 2026 class, according to 247Sports Composite.
