WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Friends is in the NAIA football quarterfinals for the first time. The Falcons’ opponent on Saturday is no stranger to deep postseason runs.
That opponent is Benedictine, which reached the semifinals twice in the previous three seasons and played for the championship in 2018.
Friends, with the nation’s highest-scoring offense at any level of college football with 57.2 points per game, has charted new territory throughout its 12-0 season. Now the Falcons are rewarded with a home game against a team that has been there before.
