It was a night of royalty and celebrity as friends and family turned out to support the Princess of Wales at the fifth annual Together At Christmas carol concert.

Among those invited was Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, who looked radiant in a deep plum-coloured Alaïa coat, vibrant dress and on-trend brown suede heeled boots. Sophie, who attended without her husband, Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, waved to well-wishers as she made her way inside Westminster Abbey ahead of the concert.

Although some family members including Lord and Lady Frederick Windsor chose to bring along their children to the festive gathering, Sophie's daughter, Lady Louise Windsor, and son, James, Viscount Severn, did not attend.
