COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (WOWT) - Pottawattamie County is looking to fill a seat on the Board of Supervisors.

In the wake of the removal of Scott Belt , the County is inviting residents to apply for consideration.

Applicants must submit a letter of interest outlining relevant qualifications, leadership capabilities, public service, and interest in the position.

Letters of Intent can be submitted online via email , or delivered in person to the Pottawattamie County Courthouse by 4:30 p.m. on December 12.

The person appointed to fill Belt’s vacancy will serve the remainder of his term, ending on December 31, 2026.
