A stalled front just to our south keeps Eastern North Carolina locked in a cool, cloudy, and occasionally damp pattern through Saturday, with the highest chance of light rain and drizzle along the Crystal Coast and into Onslow County.
Sunday brings a brief break with partial clearing and highs returning to the 50s. Another cold front and developing offshore low will bring a colder rain Monday, with a low-end chance for a brief rain/snow mix as temperatures fall late in the day; however, ground temperatures stay warm and no impacts are expected.
High pressure then settles in Tuesday through Thursday with dry, seasonably cold weather before another system may approach by Friday.
