SKOWHEGAN, Maine (WABI) - The annual tradition of turning a Central Maine town into a holiday favorite is returning this weekend.
SKOW-Whoville is back and beginning Friday evening with a parade throughout the town.
If you can’t make it out, there are plenty of activities throughout the whole day including breakfast with Santa, wreath-making and a Skow Who-crawl for the adults to get in on the fun.
It’s a collaboration between many in the community but headed by Main Street Skowhegan and there is also a Festival of Trees going on that’s put on by the Chamber of Commerce.
According to organizers, the parade itself has brought over 6,000 people to watch, so, it’s also an opportunity to show off the town of Skowhegan.
“Everybody comes out,” said Main Street Skowhegan Events Coordinator R
