Here we are, 54 days into athletic director Pat Kraft’s search to find Penn State’s permanent replacement for James Franklin, and the Nittany Lions probably found their guy.
Considering what transpired with Brigham Young’s Kalani Sitake earlier in the week, though, it is best for PSU fans to believe it when it becomes official.
In this space and on this day, let’s give Kraft and Penn State the benefit of the doubt.

Penn State is still Penn State, it was always going to attract an excellent coach. While success is never guaranteed, Matt Campbell certainly fits that description. Fans should be excited.
