An Allen Superior Court judicial officer has ruled against a Hoagland man after he filed a lawsuit against a woman who he says misidentified him to investigators after an attack at Pikes Pub.

Kent A. Adamonis was charged with felony battery resulting in serious bodily injury and misdemeanor criminal recklessness stemming from the May 30 assault of James Simmons. Adamonis was cleared as a suspect and charges against him were dismissed one day after his arrest.

Adamonis in August filed a complaint asking for $10,000 and $125 in court costs in Allen Superior Court’s Small Claims Division. Small claims allow people to file claims of up to $10,000 without an attorney.
