(KRON) – Buster Posey is bringing back some familiar faces to the San Francisco Giants front office.

The team announced Friday that the president of baseball operations is making some personnel moves within his department.

Paul Bien will be promoted to assistant general manager of baseball analytics, Curt Casali is set to rejoin the organization as an advisor to baseball operations and Javier Lopez will also be hired as an advisor to baseball operations.

Bien, who joined the Giants in 2012, has spent the last four seasons serving as the Giants’ vice president of baseball analytics. He provides quantitative data to the team’s scouting, player development and coaching staff.

Casali and Lopez are both Posey's former Giants teammates.
