There are just three weeks left of the high school football season.

Teams around the state will compete in the regional finals this week, with a trio of schools from the Texas Panhandle playing for a Region I titles.

In Class 2A Division I, West Texas looks to continue its unbeaten season at Lubbock-Cooper against a Cisco squad that has notched 12 consecutive wins.

Jeff Smith's squad isn't the only Amarillo-area team set to play in Lubbock. On the same day, West Plains meets Stephenville at Lowrey Field for a rematch of last season's Region I-4A Division I title game.

The Yellow Jackets are 13-0, and the Wolves have dropped only one game all season.
