Daniel Edward Moran Sr., of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, passed away at his home on Nov. 19, 2025. He was born to Francis T. Moran Sr. and Elizabeth (Donovan) Case and was one of four siblings.

Dan served in the United States Army during two separate enlistments and received an honorable discharge following each period of service. His military record remains a notable part of his life.

After completing his service and during his service, Dan built a long professional career in nursing, dedicating himself to the care and treatment of patients across various healthcare environments.

He was the father of Christine, Sean, Jamie, and Anthony, stepfather of Zack and Zeth; and brother of Francis T. Moran Jr. Dan was the father of the late Daniel E. Moran Jr. and brother of the late Patricia Pollo
