TEMPLE, Texas — The City of Temple has officially broken ground on the next phase of its new Public Safety Training Center .
The City hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the center on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
The City described the center as "an investment that strengthens training for first responders who keep our community safe."
The expansion of the center will reportedly include a new Temple Police Department classroom building, a modern shooting range with storage, a dedicated K-9 training space, a defensive tactics area and a planned space for virtual reality training.
