Middle Earth is calling "Lord of the Rings" fans back to theaters.
Fathom Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures announced Friday that the extended editions of Peter Jackson's "Lord of the Rings" trilogy will return to movie theaters in January 2026 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of "The Fellowship of the Ring."
The three films will screen across two weekends. Tickets are available now through Fathom's website and participating theater box offices. Where available, DBOX presentations will run Jan. 16-19, followed by standard screenings Jan. 23-25.
Theaters will offer limited-edition "Lord of the Rings" concession items during the screenings. AMC Theaters will sell collectible map tins featuring Middle Earth alongside quest magnet sets, while Regal and select independent theaters wil
