Dozens of firefighters fought a two-alarm blaze on the Atlantic City Boardwalk on Friday evening, according to a spokesperson with the Atlantic City Fire Department.
The fire started at the Peanut World store around 4 p.m. on Dec. 5 on the boardwalk at Martin Luther King Boulevard before spreading to at least two other businesses, officials said.

When crews arrived, they said that they forced their way into the connected stores in order to battle the blaze which sent smoke billowing out onto the boardwalk.
Photos of the scene that were sent to NBC10 by the fire department show smoke coming from the building as firefighters in full gear access the damage.
