A star-studded global lineup at the 5th edition of the Me’gong Festival showcased Meghalaya’s growing influence in India’s cultural and concert landscape.

Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma inaugurated the festival, which has fast become one of the country’s most vibrant cultural showcases.

The Aski Stage lit up with an iconic performance by Richard Marx, who captivated the crowd with classics and songs from his upcoming album. Neeti Mohan set the stage ablaze with Bollywood hits and paid an emotional tribute to Zubeen Garg by singing Mayabini in the late icon’s birthplace. Julian Marley infused the hills with soulful reggae, while Nucleya closed the night with an explosive electronic set that had the crowd roaring.
