Children at a paediatric clinic in Pristina enjoyed a special visit from some their favourite heroes on Friday.
The hospital setting, often associated with clinical sterility and emotional struggles, transformed into a place of wonder and laughter when volunteers dressed as beloved superheroes climbed down the building on ropes to take gifts to the children.
Their mission was simple: to bring joy, hope, and a moment of respite to the children and their families.
"They are heroic figures that children adore and eagerly look forward to," said the clinic's acting director, Arbana Baloku Zejnullahu.
"This is a mission that may seem simple but is truly grand, because it shows children that good things also happen in the paediatric clinic — superheroes come, they give them motivation and courage to fight the illness,” she added.
The youngsters' faces lit up with delight as they unwrapped the presents and shared hugs with their favourite characters.
