SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The South Dakota Coyotes are in Macon Georgia preparing for a second round matchup with the Mercer Bears, a 7th seed coming off of a bye.

Mercer has scored 35+ points in their last eight wins.

The Yotes are giving up about 26 points per game but their defense continued to improve throughout the season, allowing 21 to the Fighting Hawks, 17 to South Dakota State and Drake.

The Bulldogs scored more than half of their points in the first half.
