LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) - In the Class 5A 2025 UK HealthCare Sports Medicine State Football Finals, Pulaski County will face Owensboro on Dec. 6 at 8:00 p.m.

Both teams enter this matchup with a 12-2 overall record, and the highest two RPI’s in their class.

“I think it is two competitive teams,” Pulaski Co. Football Head Coach Travis Burns stated. “You can look at the stuff on social media that they put out and they seem to be very competitive. Our kids are very competitive, and it’s going to be a great football game.”

In the state-wide rankings, the Red Devils are eighth in the state in points per game (43.4) and the Maroons are 45th in the state averaging 35 points per game. Defensively, Owensboro has held opponents to 12.4 ppg, while Pulaski County has held their competition to 20.2 po
