MOUNT HOREB, Wis. (WKOW) -- Mount Horeb senior Josh Manchester scored his 2000th point, becoming the 69th player in Wisconsin high school basketball history to do so. His team defeated Reedsburg 68-35.
Manchester dribbled past multiple defenders and scored from under the rim shortly after tipoff. The game paused for a brief ceremony to honor the achievement.
"I couldn't have done it without every single one of my trainers, teammates and coaches, so it's really all them," Manchester said. "The community's had my back throughout everything my whole career. I got nothing but love for everyone. I feel like everyone here from Mount Horeb I knew and had a personal relationship with so it makes it an awesome experience."
