Ground was broken in south Roswell Thursday for an Equipment Share outlet which is expected to bring up to 50 well-paying jobs to Chaves County.

Amy Susan, senior director of public affairs for Equipment Share, said the company is unique in not just leasing equipment to contractors, but providing equipment that is integrated in a telemetry network called “T3” which allows site managers to monitor the exact location, operating condition and personnel operating the equipment from an app on a cell phone, tablet or computer.

“You go to manufacturing, agriculture, they're all using telemetry,” Susan said. “They're all using their phones to make work more efficient, but construction is that last frontier.

“Together with the builders of America, we are changing that,” she said.
