The crisis facing IndiGo Airlines, the country’s largest carrier, continued on Friday, leading to the cancellation of 18 flights at Mangaluru International Airport.
According to official sources, nine departures and nine arrivals were cancelled. Only four flights operated, and three of them were delayed by about 30 minutes from their scheduled time.
The large-scale disruption of IndiGo’s operations has caused severe inconvenience to passengers across airports in the country. The impact on IndiGo flights has also created minor delays for other airlines.
