BBC radio presenter Owain Wyn Evans about his health scare as he prepares to take to the stage in this year Cardiff panto. The 41-year-old took some time off from his early morning breakfast show while he recuperated from surgery at Llandough Hospital in Cardiff .

He had to have emergency surgery in October after the doctor found polyps on his gallbladder. Now, he is fully recovered and has praised the care he had from the team at the hospital.

Speaking to Wales Online during he rehearsals for Sleeping Beauty, he said: "I'm doing loads better."
