According to Defector’s Alex Shultz, John Fetterman’s memoir “Unfettered” sold about 2,600 copies the first week it appeared. As Shultz put it, “not what you want, numbers-wise.”
For contrast, Kamala Harris’ memoir, “107 Days,” sold over 350,000 copies in its first week, which as noted by Politico, puts it on track to be the year’s best-selling memoir.
Fetterman, who, along with his ghostwriter, “Friday Night Lights” author Buzz Bissinger, reportedly received more than a million-dollar advance from Crown, could not have had a splashier debut for his memoir about his struggles with mental and physical health.
