CHICAGO -- Ethan Thompson was asked in the visitor's locker room of the United Center if what had just happened had hit him yet.
A week ago, the 6-4 shooting guard was eight games in to his fifth G League season with his fourth G League team -- the Sioux Falls (S.D.) Skyforce -- and he had zero NBA minutes to his name. Sunday he signed a two-way contract with the Pacers. Monday he played in his first NBA game and scored his first points, and then Friday he scored 11 points in 34 minutes, playing a critical role in Indiana's 120-105 win over the Bulls, their first road victory of the season.
